While studying music at University College Cork, Conor and Paul began playing tunes together regularly. In later years, their house ‘Woodbine Lodge’ on Glasheen Road became a favourite place for musicians to visit and was host to many a wild night and early morning sessions. The repertoire featured on this album is a reflection of the many musical encounters that Conor and Paul have enjoyed together over the years. They are delighted to be joined on their debut album by Ryan Molloy on piano and Jim Murray on guitars.

Superbly played music with a great ‘live’ feel. Love Donal Lunny’s bouzouki the connection between fiddle and flute and the spot-on production and recording. Love it! Hope you lads go on to do loads more. thecapn_uk

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
